Sweden experience: dentists are encouraged to participate improving children‘s rights protection

By implementation of the Nordic Council of Ministers Bureau funded Project, the Ombudsman‘s for Children’s Rights advisers Jurga Kinderienė and Audronė Bedorf visited Sweden on 6-9th of September in 2011. They were interested in Sweden Children‘s Ombudsman Fredrik Malmberg campaign, which tries to seek attention of the dentists towards the system of the protection of children‘s rights and to ensure, that the dentists would report to social services about noticed child abuse and their neglect.
