Ombudsperson for Children‘s rights E. Žiobienė with her advisers R. Stankevičienė and E. Žemaitytė 6th February 2012 visited Vilniaus Žolyno home of social care, acquainted with children’s living and educational conditions, talked to children and the administration.

Žemaitytė 6th February 2012 visited Vilniaus Žolyno home of social care, acquainted with children’s living and educational conditions, talked to children and the administration. During the meeting with the director D. Putrimienė and her assistant A. Kuzminskienė problems of children’s behavior, their informal education and occupation, improvement of living conditions and some aspects of work organization were discussed. Ombudsperson drew attention to the lack of resources for the interior reconstruction of the premises and improvement of children’s living conditions, which might have negative impact on the process of licensing the institution.
